Booking System and Clinic Software

This month, East Coast Clinic has changed its booking system over to a new software called Phorest.

We are excited about this change as it will enable us to deliver a smoother service to our patients in clinic with greater automation and clinical features.

Some appointments will now require a deposit at the time of booking. This is deducted from your treatment bill.

Most exciting of all it will enable us to launch our membership programme - East Coast Clinic Club which is coming soon.

Sculptra

We are very excited to announce our Sculptra service. Sculptra is an injectable cosmetic treatment made from poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA), designed to gradually restore facial volume by stimulating the body’s natural collagen production.

Unlike traditional hyaluronic acid fillers that offer immediate volume, Sculptra works more slowly, with results appearing over several weeks to months.

Sculptra treatment provides a natural-looking improvement in facial volume and skin texture that can last up to 2 years or more, depending on your body’s collagen response and how many treatments you receive.

Christmas Botulinum Toxin Timeline

As Christmas approaches, East Coast Clinic has received lots of questions about timing aesthetic procedures such as botulinum toxin injections for best results at Christmas.

The main thing to consider for these procedures is that Botox takes about 2 weeks to reach it’s maximum effect so scheduling for the beginning of December gives this treatment time to take effect and gives sufficient time for follow up in time for Christmas day itself.

Flu

The Scottish Government have released a statement that flu has arrived a little early this year. Flu can be a very unpleasant but can also be a serious illness for some people requiring hospitalisation. Book your flu vaccine with us and give yourself the best chance of avoid serious flu illness this winter.
